OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1995
Wintermoon Geotechnologies was incorporated in 1995 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. by Dr. Michal Ellen Ruder.
THE MISSION
Always Striving for More
We provide our clients with expert geophysical services for the study and quantitative modeling of crustal structure and earth properties. We specialize in gravity, magnetics, remote sensing, digital image processing, and GIS applications. Wintermoon is one-stop shop for geophysical survey design, data acquisition bid evaluation, field QC and oversight, post-processing oversight, data enhancement, quantitative modeling, and integrated geologic and geophysical interpretation.
Technology transfer of our robust approach to modeling and interpretation is our key goal. We provide quality products to our clients, and we can teach them to generate their own interpretations as well.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Michal Ruder
President
Michal is a graduate of Bowdoin College (A.B., 1979, Geology and Physics, Cum Laude) and The Pennsylvania State University (Ph.D., 1986, Geophysics). Her work experience spans industry, academic and government research institutions. Michal designs and implements non-seismic geophysical solutions for Wintermoon Geotechnologies. Her fields of expertise include: gravity, magnetics, GIS, and remote sensing.
